Oliver graduated from the University of Liverpool, beginning his career within the NHS in the UK before embracing the sunnier climate of Australia. His practice has spanned roles in emergency medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, and primary healthcare in both urban and rural settings.
His recent work includes positions with the Maari Ma Aboriginal Medical Service in Broken Hill and previous roles across multiple Northern Territory locations, including the Danila Dilba Aboriginal Medical Service and Katherine Hospital in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Pediatrics.
A dedicated advocate for high-quality patient care, Oliver was recognized as a finalist for the NTGPE Dr. Debbie Stach GP Registrar of the Year Award. His qualifications include Advanced Skills Training in Aboriginal Health, the Sydney Child Health Program, and a range of emergency and obstetric-focused training. He has also served as a Registrar Liaison Officer, representing and supporting fellow registrars in their training.
