Erika is a long-term resident of Victoria, but originally hails from sunny Sydney. She completed medical training through the University of Melbourne and has worked across hospitals in Victoria, including Austin Hospital, Northern Hospital, Echuca Hospital and the Mercy Hospital.
During her hospital years at the Austin and Northern Hospitals, she completed the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and now provides shared antenatal care at our Practice. She also enjoys dealing with tiny humans following her Paediatric hospital rotations. At the end of her General Practice training, she spent 6 months working at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre where she gained valuable experience in LGBTIQ health and Sexual health. She is currently a registered PrEP prescriber and Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP) provider.
Erika’s interest also extends into Palliative Medicine and she has a Diploma in Palliative Care.
She has a passion to train good doctors for the future generations and currently tutors medical students at the University of Melbourne.
Her interests outside of medicine include drinking coffee, bike riding and running (towards a coffee shop) and her hilarious nieces.
